During Winter and some early Spring shipments, some of the plant materials in this shipment are DORMANT.
This means that even though they have no green top growth, they will grow from dormant buds when temperatures are right. For many perennials, This 'rest period' is ESSENTIAL to good flowering performance in the upcoming season. During Summer/Winter months shipping might be delayed as we only will be shipping on days that we know it won’t harm the plant(s). Monday through Thursday

HONEYSUCKLE: The genus Lonicera contains more than 200 species worldwide and is distributed in temperate and subtropical regions of North America, Europe, North Africa, and Asia. Most of the species are small trees or shrubs. Honeysuckle is cultivated in private gardens and in cities as an ornamental because of its large, fragrant flowers and brilliant red fruits.
Large creamy-yellow fragrant flowers. Blooms July thru October. Attracts hummingbirds. Prune and tie stems in early spring. Remove all dead and weak stems, and trim the remaining stems 5-8 inches to where a strong pair of leaf buds appear. Remaining stems should be tied in a position that gives sufficient space for new growth. Height 6-7 feet.
